Veteran Communist Party of India leader Nallakannu passed away at Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital. State secretary Veerapandian said that, as per Nallakannu’s wish, his body will be handed over to a Chennai medical college for research. Before that, it will be kept at the party office from 5 pm for public homage.
