Actor Kamal Haasan sparked a controversy during music release of the film Thug Life by stating that Kannada originated from Tamil. Defamation case was filed against him in the Kanakapura court. Amidst this, the case has now been transferred to the special court in Bengaluru that handles cases involving MPs and MLAs, and the hearing has been adjourned to the 22nd.
