Karan Gupta, an Indian-origin man who worked for Optum, a leading US medical company, has been fired for allegedly committing a multi-crore corruption case. It has been revealed that he had included the name of a friend in the companys employee list and was paying him an annual salary of Rs. 90 lakh, out of which Karan received Rs. 45 lakh as commission.
