The Registration Department currently has a contactless document registration system (conducted online) in place. This procedure is becoming mandatory starting on the 17th. Registration Department Minister Lokesh Tamilselvan stated that, under this system, the registration of first-sale plots and first-sale apartments can be easily completed through contactless document registration.
