SEBI has proposed a major upgrade for ETF pricing – shifting from outdated 2-day old (T-2) NAV to latest 1-day (T-1) data, making gold, silver, equity & debt ETFs far more accurate and real-time. The regulator also wants flexible daily price bands (starting at (+/-)6% for gold/silver ETFs, up to (+/-)20% max) to better match actual market movements and reduce pricing errors.
