High Court bench has dismissed the petition seeking the removal of the Thenkalai mark and the re-establishment of the Vadakalai mark. A petition was filed seeking an interim stay on conducting the consecration ceremony of the Sri Narasimha Perumal temple in Vallam, Kumbakonam, according to the Vaikhanasa Agama. High Court bench imposed a fine of Rs. 1 lakh on the petitioner Kumbakonam.
