A popular gold jewellery store in Chennai announced that it would pay Rs. 12,000 in monthly interest for an investment of Rs. 1 lakh. It is alleged that those who invested approximately Rs. 60 crore were subsequently defrauded. In connection with this Rs. 60 crore fraud case, three more people, including a woman, have been arrested.
