Despite the Union Budget 2026–27 giving priority to the growth of the micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSME) sector, many of its long-standing demands have been overlooked, according to TANSTIA president Vasudevan. Expressing disappointment, he said the budget failed to address critical issues faced by small and medium industries, sparking concern among MSME stakeholders in Tamil Nadu.
