In 2016-2017, the Income Tax Department imposed a fine of Rs. 1.50 crore on actor Vijay, alleging that he had concealed the Rs. 15 crore he received for the film Puli. Vijay filed a case in the Madras High Court seeking to quash this fine, and the final arguments were presented today. Following this, the High Court reserved its judgment without specifying a date.
