Indian Navy successfully rescued an Iranian-owned vessel, the Asini, and its 20 crew members from the control of Somali pirates in the Arabian Sea, approximately 3,000 kilometers from Mumbai. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has commended the Indian Navy for its operation, which safely recovered the ship and those on board from the pirates, who were armed with sophisticated weapons.
