Two low pressure areas: The Chennai Meteorological Centre has stated that two low-pressure areas are set to form simultaneously. According to the centre, there is a possibility that two low-pressure areas could develop at the same time—one in the Arabian Sea and the other in the Bay of Bengal—before the end of this month.
