Properties spanning approximately 21 acres and 6 cents—valued at around ₹600 crore—located in Thimmarayasamudram village, Srirangam Taluk, Trichy district, have been endowed for the religious services of the Srirangam Temple. The Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court has issued an order prohibiting the registration of this land as housing plots.
