TN Assembly: A calling-attention motion was moved in the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly today regarding a circular issued by the Education Department aimed at preventing students from participating in protests. Minister Viswanathan explained that the circular was not issued with any ulterior motive and stated that it was withdrawn because it contained some erroneous phrasing.
