Chennai High court: R.T. Sekar—who contested the Perambur constituency election representing the DMK—along with voters Dinesh and Lakshminarasimhan, had separately filed election petitions in the Madras High Court challenging the victory of Vijay in that constituency. Upon hearing the matter, the High Court refused to accept new requests made by Vijays side and adjourned the case to the 25th.
