“Legal recognition is required regarding the ‘Tamil Thai Vazhthu’ issue. Legislation must be enacted to make the singing of the ‘Tamil Thai Vazhthu’ mandatory. The TVK government’s resolution will not bind the Governor or the Central Government,” stated former DMK leader Regupathy.
