Edappadi Palaniswami: There were no new announcements in the budget; existing schemes were merely rebranded and presented as new. AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami remarked that not a single new scheme has been announced even 85 days into the administrations tenure. He further questioned the status of the promises made by TVK, dismissing the entire affair as a deception.
