Cauvery issue: The Tamil Nadu government has filed a petition in the Supreme Court against Karnataka regarding the Cauvery issue. This petition has been filed to resolve the river water sharing dispute and secure the appropriate share of water on a proportional basis, in accordance with the directive of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay.
