DMK MK Stalin has announced that a massive protest will be held in Thanjavur on August 3rd, urging the government to take firm measures to uphold Tamil Nadus rights to Cauvery water and to announce a special relief package for Delta farmers. Stalin warned that if the slumbering TVK government refuses to heed the farmers voices, it will face even larger-scale protests.
