Assembly elections are scheduled to be held in Uttar Pradesh early next year (2027). Amidst this, AIMIM chief Owaisi has extended an invitation to Akhilesh Yadavs Samajwadi Party, expressing readiness to form an alliance to defeat the BJP. If this materializes, it will pose a new challenge for the BJP.
