Madras High Court has issued notices to Vijay and the election officer in connection with a case challenging Vijays victory in the Chennai Perambur constituency. The court issued this order following a petition filed by DMK candidate R.D. Sekar and others, who alleged discrepancies in the nomination papers submitted by Vijay and sought to have his election declared invalid.
