Madurai High Court: A petition was filed at the Madurai Bench of the High Court challenging the Tamil Nadu governments decision to provide government jobs to 31 family members of those who lost their lives in the Karur stampede. During the hearing of this petition, the court ordered the state government to file a counter-affidavit by the 24th of this month.
