After a 17-year wait, the schedule for the Chennai Beach – St. Thomas Mount elevated train service—commencing today (March 14)—has been released. It has been announced that, for the time being, trains will not stop at Adambakkam; however, the full service is expected to be implemented shortly. The St. Thomas Mount railway station is now transforming into a mega transportation hub.
